AZ Border Sheriff: 'I Have About As Much Regard for the U.N. as I Do the Vermin'
Posted by admin / Under Joe Jamail(CNSNews.com) Sheriff Larry Dever, whose officers patrol Cochise County along the border between Arizona and Mexico, said he finds it amazing that the U.S. State Department would refer the recently passed immigration law in his state to the United Nations Human Rights Council for review. Well, its just amazing to me, Dever told CNSNews.com. Course, I have about as much regard for the U.N. as I do the vermin that hides in the rocks around my house here and reaches out and tries to bite me every now and then. The Bush administration refused to join the U.N. Human...

Alaska Primary Election Results Winner: Joe Miller Beats Lisa Murkowski?
Posted by admin / Under Joe JamailIn a shocking upset, Joe Miller is the winner of the Alaska Senate primary if the current vote projection holds for the Republican primary election. With half of the precincts reporting, Miller holds a slight 51.8 to 48.2% lead over the GOP incumbent senator. The vote lead has been consistent during the early counting and even increased slightly as more precincts have been counted in Alaska. Joe Miller has been a heavy underdog in pre-election polls, trailing the senator by 20-30 points. Nobody thought this race would be close. In fact, the mainstream media has been using the Alaska primary...
Primary Results Thread 8/24/2010
Posted by admin / Under Joe JamailFolks, What are you hearing. What are the results in your area or via local media, Talk Radio, or Fox. Interesting tidbit on Hugh Hewitt tonight.. Rich Lowry of NRO has been speaking with his deep throat "obi wan" and they have been thinking out of the box and that 2012 may have conservatives with super majorities in both houses. Just on Fox in FLA in the primaries people voted for Rubio 2 to 1, (just like Michigan) the intensity is worry some for the Dems, Santorum noted the 2 to 1 ratio.
BIDEN: 'We're moving in the right direction'...
Posted by admin / Under Joe JamailVice President Biden today played attack dog for the White House, accusing Rep. John Boehner (R) of being "nostalgic" for the failed economic policies of the Bush administration. At an event where he was to unveil a report analyzing the impact of the Recovery Act, Biden broke from prepared remarks to react to the House minority leader's speech in Cleveland today. What was billed as a major economic address for Boehner offered no new policy other than to fire the White House economic team, Biden said.

The hidden hand of Joe Biden
Posted by admin / Under Joe JamailWhen President Barack Obama announced in the Rose Garden last week that he had sacked Gen. Stanley McChrystal, he also made a point of telling his fractious Afghanistan team that he welcomed debate but would not abide division. The poster child for that all-for-one approach was standing directly on the presidents right: Vice President Joe Biden. On Afghanistan, Obamas most problematic foreign policy issue, Biden has earned the presidents respect and confidence by being both private skeptic and public cheerleader for administration policy. With a combination of subtlety and discretion that belie his reputation as a glad-handing chatterbox, Biden has...
